Speed Studies: Spot-speed and journey-time measurements to assess operating conditions and compliance with speed limits.
Origin–Destination Analysis: Survey of travel patterns to understand trip origins, destinations and routing choices.
Peak Hour & Directional Splits: Identification of morning/evening peak flows and directional traffic imbalances.
Technology & Methods: Video-based surveys, pneumatic tubes, manual counts, and automatic traffic counters.
